Teacher asks: 1. What are you going to do after class tonight? 2. What plans do you have for the weekend? 3. The room is too hot. What can you do? Ss should naturally use the future forms under review.
Ss will do the first activity that asks them to match form and meaning. They will then go on to the verb choice conversation activity. After peer check, Ss will listen to the recording to check answers.
Ss will try to write the 6 sentences read out in order to focus on linked words in spoken language. Ss will peer check in pairs. FB on sentences and T will model and drill word pairs.
In groups of 3, students will role-play a dialogue, allowing them to use the target language. They will follow a set procedure, using a flow chart. They will then repeat the activity using a different role and a different problem. T will monitor for error correction. FB can include solutions to the different problems indicated, using the TL
Ss can complete the workbook activity if time allows.
