Procedure (45 minutes)
I will elicit answers from the students about the last activity they went through in the other session. moreover, I will try to apply it to have them get the overall view of the lesson.
I will elicit the be told vocabulary of the unit as I know they are pretty familiar with the vocabulary using storytelling Technics by having them speak over some situations in pairs. then I will give them some oral key phrases to open the gap in their Brains and I will be presenting the words one by one with their pronunciations.
I will ask the CCQs: 1. Does "get involved" explain getting to somewhere? NO 2. Does "get involved" mean being in an action? Yes 3. Does "get along" mean to be around something? No 4. Does "get on with it" mean to cope with someone or something? Yes 5. Does "get in touch" mean to get information from someone? No 6. Does "get in touch" mean to be connected with someone?
I will first present the rest of exercise 1 and have them speak over the meanings in there and the words in the beginning of exercise 1 and then lean towards replacing activity which is presented in the exercise 2. with some slight monitoring by walking around the class.
I will have them to work in pairs exchanging ideas about the semi-controlled practice.
I will present the photos then I will elicit something like the places or what is happening.
I will present the Ss the question written on the 1st part of the Speaking which is Compare and Contrast two Photos and decide what the link is between. and have them speak about that then I will ask them to move a step and answer the next exercises question which is going to be done in pairs and then have them compare their answers with other groups.
In this Part I will be writing the slips or mistakes that the students have had during their speaking practice on the board and ask them to correct them.
