Procedure (35 minutes)
On WB, write down numbers, and ask students to say them out loud.
Ask students randomly about the number of hours they: eat, sleep, watch television, wait at red traffic lights, spend on cell phones - per day & per week & per month & per year. Write up on WB.
Write up 5 sentences on WB for class to read and discuss. Highlight Unit 9, Pg 49, Language Focus "0 is called ..." & use of "," as a seperator
Reverse speaking practice of figures into listening, and writing them down. Students to write down: a. 0.2% b. 300 million dollars c. 7, 965 d. 103,328 e. 53, 497 f. 251, 820 g. 3/4 percent h. 10,000 pounds sterling i. 5.2 j.10.0094 WC to check
