Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T-WC. To do a quick review of the numbers and family members Ss already know.

Pre-Reading/Listening (10-12 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible

T-WC. Families vocabulary exercise on page 10 No.1 from the course book. Check Ss' singular and plural understanding

While-Reading/Listening #1 (10-12 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks

Personalizing activity PW, Ss speak about their families.

While-Reading/Listening #2 (14-16 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed, deduction and inference reading/listening tasks

recording 1.17 Ss read and listen. After each sentence they have a pause to decode the message. recording 1.19 Ss fill the gaps.

Post-Listening (8-10 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
