Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (5-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

I will give them a context related to the grammar. First they will see some rules related to park , then they will see some of the driving rules by showing traffic signs. In this stage , at first I will show them some pictures and lead the way but after that I will elicit some examples from students and they are going to help me by answering the questions.

Exposure (7-8 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

I will lead them to understand that when and why do we use must / must not.

Highlighting (3-4 minutes) • To draw students' attention to the target language

I will absorb their attention to some grammar points : We don’t have any "to" or "ing" or "ed" after must , just base form of the verb. must / must not are the same for all persons.

Clarification (7-8 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

I will clarify the grammar rules on the board and review the things that they should learn.

Controlled Practice (7-8 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

books open , students in pair will work on their Books’ exercises. I will monitor and help them during this stage.

Free Practice (11-12 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

I will divide student to 3 or for groups. I will ask them to work together and come up with the rules of a specific place , such as school , apartment , classroom , restaurant , swimming pool etc. when they finish their projects , they will hang them on the wall. Then they have to exchange their ideas and talk about their projects.
