Procedure (45-59 minutes)
1. T asks questions : Do you like buying presents? What was the last present you bought? Who did you buy it for? 2. SS discuss in pairs and then share as a whole class
1. SS read a text about presents and match the pictures. 2. SS discuss which present would they like to get? Why? Discuss with a partner. 3. T takes a WC feedback.
1. T asks SS to look at the text and underline the examples that mean want and circle the example that mean like in the text. 2. SS complete the table with the examples from the text. 3. SS compare in pairs and then T shows the answers on the board
1. SS complete the task from the guided discovery, then they compare in pairs and T takes a WC feedback. 2. T clarifies the form on the board: I like driving I'd like to drive I like to drive I 'd like driving
1. Ss complete the dialog about birthday present 2. SS check in pairs and then as a whole class 3. (if time) SS read dialog in pairs
1. SS listen to a small dialog and repeat intonation 2. In pairs SS practice dialog and use the examples from the reading 3. Error correction after practice
1. T asks SS students to create their own "Happy present" 2. SS work individually and also they may use ideas from the board 3. T monitors and helps if necessary . 4. In small groups SS present their presents. 5. SS make two circles and present their presents to each other 6. Error correction
