Procedure (47-58 minutes)
Lead in with a short holiday video (Turkish Airlines) to activate students' schemata about the context and get them interested. Before starting video tell them to write down the places. - Ask class where they were/are? Try and elicit where they went and write it on the WB -Put picture of the Pyramids and ask about the place. Point at myself and elicit 'Six years ago i Went to Egypt with my brother' underline ago. This is the answer, what is the question? 'When did you go?' Drill both question and answer. - Now ask students when did you go for holiday and where di you go? (make them use 'ago')? -Do a short WC FB Write some of the 'ago's' on the WB. Drill them
HO 1 to students and tell them to work in PW. Elicit the words you think they are unsure of. -Tell them to read their answers to each other. Monitor Next HO2 tell them to complete/finish the sentences -After they are done with the answers, ask them to compare in pairs and do a short WC FB. -Give the class the AK and tell them to ask each other in PW the questions and answer them and write down their partners answer: demonstrate this with pen and paper. - Rearrange the groups in apple, banana, orange. Tell the groupmembers about their partners. - Put next picture on the WB with sightseeing, write 'we went sightseeing..' elicit it

HO3, instruct that they now have to write their own holiday. Ask them past or present? Feed vocabulary and assist students. - Give them about 10 minutes to write it. - GW where they read their writings to each other. - Hang their writings on the walls and let them read each others'
Take notes of error during monitoring of the writing. And do drilling and error correction of common mistakes
