Procedure (40-55 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (7-10 minutes) • Get them thinking about grammar
Put the students into pairs and ask the students to think why grammar is hard and what they think the most common mistakes are.
Exposure (10-15 minutes) • To look at tenses and what tenses are and what they do.
As a group look at what tenses are and how they help when you communicate. you need to try and elicit they types of tenses there are and words for each one.
Useful Language (23-30 minutes) • Getting them to match the different tenses with sentences and phases
Put them into pairs and give them a set of tenses, meanings, and examples of them sentences. Get them to go through them and match one of each together. After they have done this come back together as a group and talk about them and if they dont understand any discuss about them.
