Procedure (28-55 minutes)
Students are going to watch a youtube video about NapPods and answer the following questions. Which activity do you think people do at NapPods? Talk with your partner. Write your answers on a piece of paper.
Students will read the text and try to find out the activity done with NapPods. Instructions: Read the text about NapPods. Find the answer of the question.
They will read the text and underline the words that they don't know. After they finish the reading I will elicit the meaning of new words by drawing shapes on the board.
The students will answer the questions. (Ex 3) They will check their answers with their partner. The students will answer the questions. (Ex 4) They will check their answers from the answer key hidden somewhere in the classroom.
Students will work in groups. (3 groups - Have - Go - Get) Every group will have a square on the board. They will find the words that go together with Have, Go & Get. Write the words in their square. When they're finished they will also place the words in ex2 to their box.
I will write two sentences and ask the difference between underlined phrases. I go home at 6.00 and I get home at 6.15. I wake up at 7.00 and I get up at 7.05. - Raise your hand if you know the answer.
Students will present their own day by using the lexis they have just learned. You will present the activities you do everyday to your friend. From 6.00 am to 11.00 pm. Prepare for 2 minutes. Now tell your friend what you do. When you're finished, change...
