Procedure (35-48 minutes)
-ask Ss (4-5 of them) to describe themselves' and each other's appearance and personality. Describe the task in my own example: I have long straight brown hair and big brown eyes, I am tall. I am clever and kind. Natalie has long straight blond hair and big blue eyes. She's tall too. She's shy.
To get students thinking about the language before they listen, they could work in pairs to describe the pictures before they listen and check.
Remember to deal with meaning first (p150, ex 1a). Use pictures and a matching activity for the vocabulary as in the book.Manage feedback and drill some of the vocab
P150 ex 2a and b will help Ss think about meaning, and test what they know. Encourage them to work in groups/pairs for this. Do ex 2a and then FB, followed by ex 2b, or ex 2a and 2b together. Drill some of the vocab.

p 150 ex 2d Drill some of the questions that can be used for personalised speaking practice. Remind Ss questions from the exposure stage, drill them and then students can interview each other.Get some general feedback from the Ss.
