Procedure (36-46 minutes)
Teacher will ask students a question related to their previous lesson which had been about illness and injury ,e.g.,"how they feel about First Aid, or " if they have First Aid Kit at home, and "whether they have used it so far" .Then teacher will show them a picture in which a patient explaining his problem to the doctor and asking for advice.The students will talk about the picture in order to be prepared for the listening.
The students will listen to a conversation between a doctor and a patient ,and they are supposed to answer two questions.Teacher will ask them some questions to get the feedback ,and in case of the warm up for the structure part.They will be given the first handout which is the context of the listening.They should fill in the blanks and then listen again and check.
Teacher will draw their attention to two sentences having the target structure to illustrate the difference between present perfect simple and present perfect continuous, and also she will elicit from the students the difference between the two tenses.Then they will be presented on the board two sentences the correct answer, and after that the teacher will ask them to guess in pair.This activity will be followed by some CCQs .Afterwards teacher will introduce the structure on the board .Then they will be given the second handout to do some exercises and check together.
The teacher will give the students the third handout which is colored. They can choose their favorite colored paper.There are some prompts in it and they should make questions by a correct relevant , and ask each other in pair.Finally as the feedback they will change their partner ,and will be asked to talk about their previous partner.
Teacher will give them the fourth handout to do some more exercises at home.
