Students will be asked to think of what could be good questions to make an interesting conversation.
Ss will be asked to discuss in groups what are the topics that are ok to discuss with people you are getting to know an which topics you might want to avoid. Then the T will post four picture that represent four different topics. T will give the Ss questions handouts that they will be asked to go to topic picture tht is related to their questions. After that, they will give their feedback by answering the questions given to them.
T will give the Ss a handouts about the direct and indirect questions rules that they will apply later on couple of questions in order to identify whether they are direct or indirect questions. T will show the Ss one question as an example of each form on the board. Ss will elicit which of the rules fits with. Every S will be handed a different questionnaire that he/she will pick without knowing on which topic it's about, and that they'll use to interview each other. Ss should be given the chance to interview other groups' members using that questionnaire, and they will be two signal given and which mean that the Ss need to switch/change; first signal means they will switch roles (interviewer/interviewee), and the second signal is for the Ss to change to speak to someone from another group.
T will ask the students such questions as which of the topics was easiest to talk about and which one was difficult.
