Procedure (47-59 minutes)
- give the students letters " A, S, M,T,P,D,E" each to one group. - ask them to write at least three jobs which are started with the letter. - ask each group to share their answers with the whole class - give them a handout about name of some jobs - ask them to write the answers first individually - ask them to check their answers in pairs - give the whole class the answers.
- give them the text about my job interview - ask them to answer the two questions - ask them to check their answers in pairs - give them the correct answers
- highlight the activity by modeling it with one of students
- divide them into 8 groups - give half of the groups the words in small pieces of paper and give the other half the definition - ask them to help each other to match the word with the definition. -give them the answers - work on the pronunciation by giving them some drilling activity
- ask them in pairs to talk about which of the collocations they have learned are important for them which are not. (at least mention three)
