Procedure (28-41 minutes)
I am going to set the context of television through playing the hangman game with them, to elicit the word 'television'
1. Ss will be divided in groups of 3 2. Ss will be shown a picture of a television on the screen. 3. They will brainstorm other television-related collocations. 4. W/C feedback
1. Ss will be given a worksheet. 2. In the same groups they will have to put the word 'television' before or after the word 3. Ss will check their answers with W/C 4.In the same group the discuss what each word means 5. Ss will be given two pack of paper strips and will be asked to match the meaning with words 6. Ss will be given answer sheet 4. T will drill vocabulary
1.Ss will be given 5 sentence on a worksheet separately 2. They will put the word in the brackets in the correct place. 3. They will complete the sentence using their own idea and share it in pairs
1. In groups of 4 Ss will be given a sheet and cut out of adjectives 2. They will sort them in positive or negative 3. Ss will be asked to use these words to describe two sentences they discussed earlier. 4. T demonstrates e.g. the best television channel is mbc2 because it is entertaining.
1. T will display some sentences on board 2. In group Ss will decide which sentences are okay and how to correct the wrong ones
