Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (4-6 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

T: call on them, to say what type of news they like...

Prep for Number 2 (3-4 minutes) • Check understanding of words listed

Demonstrate Number 2/ Controlled practice (2-3 minutes) • To make sure instructions are understood

T: Say NEWS vocab is connected(gesture) to Number 2 T: use wipe board to put the number sign/ question mark in the boxes T: Gesture Listen to recording T: Play 3.8 T: Copy key to corner of board

Clarification/ Feedback (4-5 minutes) • Clarify they had time to fill in
