To ask the students more questions about the sentences e.g. Do the conditional clauses and the results refer to the present, the future or the past? Are they real or unreal conditionals? Ss work n pairs, then, I will give them WCFB.
Ss will fill in a guided discovery form concerning the conditionals. They can then check in pairs. Ss can write the answers on the board. I will give them the WCFB. I will introduce other conditional words e.g. unless, on condition that, provided that, providing that, as long as, so long as. Ss form sentences using those words.
To give students clear instructions concerning the activity. Ss will write the corrrect form of the verbs in brackets. Then, they check their answers in pairs. Next WCFB. After that, I will write three conditional clauses on the board and I'll ask students to imagine their results. They can work in pairs. Then, WCFB will be given. Two competitions between two groups will be organised. Ss will write complete sentences of their own in the first. While, in the second, they will imagine they were other characters and they will express what they would do in this case.
