Check answers as a whole group.
Put students in pairs and ask them to complete the sentences and find the example. Ex 2a/b check answers as a whole class.
Students will already have some knowledge of the given language area so the idea is to guide them to work out further rules for themselves. Ask students to work in pairs on the guided discovery Handout to help students understand the general concept. Clarify any misunderstandings by referring the timelines in the book.
Draw Students' attention to the pictures on page 55 and ask if they know any of the people in the pictures. Ask if they know what these people's achievements are? Put Students in pairs and allow time to do Ex1, pg 55. Check Students' answers.
Ask students to work in pairs to complete the sentences in ex2, page. 55 Monitor and help with any vocabulary if needed.
