He will then introduce a small review of simple present tense sentences.
The teacher will draw two people of opposite gender. Labeling them as 'Gökberk' (T) and 'Tülün' (Ts mother) and read outloud with the sentences on the board telling them what he did today. Then the stds will tell the teacher what they do/did today.
Write the grammar of a simple present tense sentence. Then later turn the subject into the past tense by changing the slide to past tense and reading out loud the past tense of what the T did yesterday. The teacher will point out the difference between a regular verb and a irregular verb by mentioning the underlined, bold, red sentences.
After showing the grammar structure of a past tense sentence, the teacher will then show the students a list (mixed) with mostly irregular and some regular verbs and WC with the leading of the T, they will practice the pronounciation of the verbs and do a quick overview of some of the verbs. The list itself will be handed out to students after class.
The stds will be shown a empty roleplay in which they will create their own sentences. This practice will be done by stds creating their own sentences and asking other students what they did today.
The teacher will check the students answers by asking them what they did. If the free practice time is insufficient, this section will not be made and the students will be given a homework sheet about irregular verbs that they will need to bring to the class next time.
