Ss is planned to gain autonomy in writing about a holiday destination.
Procedure (39-58 minutes)
T will talk about her favorite place and make a narrative-like talk appropriate to the level of the ss. In exposure stage, T will make a comparison between a small village and crowded boroughs of Istanbul.
Ss will be given Handout 1. They will be provided with useful and directory phrases. In this controlled practice activity ,students, in pairs, are encouraged to compound sentences appropriate to given features of a famous city.Then ss will be asked to share these feautures with other pairs.
Instructions will be given to clear out any possible confusion. A paragraph is divided into pieces of 8 and ss will be asked to put them into order. Following their completion of each item, ss are supposed to decode the password to get the new task as a further step.
Instructions will be given to clear out any possible confusion. Following this, ss will be given a semi-contolled practice which is called ''mision possible''. Ss are asked to conduct an interview with any two people among their classmates.
ss will be given a freer practice activity. Instructions will be given to clear out the process and expectations. In pairs, ss will be asked to complete a special offer holiday package. I will keep my eyes open to detect any errors related to language usage.
Pairs will read the advertisement of other pairs. While doing this, I will monitor and engage myself to give WCF.
