Main Aims

  • To provide review and practice for grammatical structures and key vocabulary in the context of course topics

Subsidiary Aims

  • To review and practice grammatical structures and key vocabulary in the context of course topics by TPR/listening/playful approach

Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Provide/review some vocabulary in a playful approach (square, go forward, go back, review of numbers, optional: roll dice) Students move along a children-sized boardgame

Exposure (3-5 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming task through listening/TPR

Review the learned phrases and engage students by TPR/changing seats Change places if you can... Change places if you have got... Change places if you like...

Productive Task (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
