Procedure

Warmer/ Noticing (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

The procedure goes around with showing some pictures and writing some words related to the topic (TRAVEL). In this phase,students are provided with an implicit way to know the grammar with two activities,namely,recognizing the correct answer provided with clue and picture that create a chance to speak .It should be noted that because students are dependent,more time is dedicated to having interaction between teacher and students rather than students and students.The context is about the Past Tense ,so by conversational interweave the teacher tries to use the target language to help learners .

Focus on form/Usage (8-10 minutes) • Moving from induction to deduction

Writing the rule on the board and making some explicit examples and explanations. In this stage learners` misunderstandings of the concept of the given Grammar will be solved. Making some related questions can make the teacher sure that learners have understood or have not.Afterwards, they go back to the text of reading and underlie the given Grammar by themselves then checking in the group.

Use of Language (2-4 minutes) • By employing meaningful drills students get involved in role playing,function and interaction.

After learning the Grammar deductively,the teacher should implement some ways to make students use the Language in real life (authentic Language). to do so, students play a related role to the topic (Travel) and engage in speaking.Since students have moved from being dependent to independent ,their speaking is more INTRA rather than being INTER ,so this is S-S . It can serve Constructive Repetition .

Mechanical drill (8-10 minutes) • Working on the main book to cover excercises

Individually or in pairs learners cover the book. More clarification if needed.

Clarification (8-10 minutes) • Working on pronunciation and the form of abbreviation

Working on how to make abbreviation and pronouncing .
