Procedure (22-54 minutes)
T welcomes the Ss with a smile. T shows the students some pictures about historical heroes and heroines on the board. T asks the Ss ;Do you these people ? Ss discuss the pictures in pairs. Ss share their ideas about the pictures with the whole class. ,
T writes 3 clues sentences on the board (about the main idea of the text) T tells the Ss to read the sentences quickly. T hands ths text to the Ss T tells the Ss to read the text quickly then to choose the right sentence T feedback about the task
T sets the True/False task T instructs the Ss about the task Ss read the sentences first Ss read the text for detailed information Ss write True or Flase Ss discuss their answers in pairs T feedback about the task
