Description
In this lesson stsudents revise family vocabulary through information-gap speaking activity. This lesson starts with a warmer "Board Grab" game. This is followed by a recap of grammar structure "have / has got" along with the possesive " 's " and "his & her" in the context of family. Then, they do a "Guess Who" game where they practice these forms.

Main Aims

The main aim of this lesson is to enable students produce and revise "have/has got", "possesive 's'" and possessive adjectives "his" and "her".
Subsidiary Aims

To provide review of Have / has got, possessive s and some possessive adjectives in the context of Family
Procedure (45-55 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students and improve spelling skills and create a path into possessive 's
Continue on from Darren. Stick the family poster and have them label the the pictures.
Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide a model of production expected in coming tasks through reading.
Have them complete the puzzle full of with the examples of possessive 's.
Useful Language (8-10 minutes) • To highlight and clarify useful language for coming productive tasks through a reading activity again.
I will have the students complete a family tree according to the information they have. Then they need to answer the comprehension questions which suppy them the question form they will be supposed to produce.
Productive Task(s) (18-20 minutes) • To provide an opportunity to practice target productive skills
Students will have the chance to produce the target language through information gap activity.
Feedback and Error Correction (8-10 minutes) • To provide feedback on students' production and use of language
In this activity students should write the names of people in a family photo and make sentences about people in.
