Procedure
Teacher writes the question on the board. " What newspapers do you read ? Set Ss in pairs and Remind the previous lesson to the Ss and asks them what they remembered about the newspaper they read.
Teacher asks students to think in pairs and find the irregular and regular verbs in the text. Ex. Woodward answered his phone . The men had cameras. . Woodward left his apartment and walked to the office. . Woodward heard some news about the burglary. . Woodward picked up the phone. . Students check their answer together , and then whole class feedback.
Set in pairs and ask them to read the text again and to find the regular or irregular verbs in the text. . Woodward looked across the room. ..Woodward picked up the phone and made some calls. Ss check the answers together & then whole class feedback via projecting the text on the board & ask Ss to go to the board to highlight. Pass out a gap -fill HO , and ask Ss to work in pairs to complete the missing parts of the sentences using regular and irregular verbs. Peer correction where necessary.
