Procedure (45-55 minutes)
At the beginning of my lesson, I will divide the learners into three queues then show them the effective vocabulary that we can use in our lesson. I will let them tell each other then the one who in front of the board, will write this word. after finishing writing these words, I will correct them on the board and clarify the difficult ones for the learners.
I will project two pictures for the city of Istanbul. One refers to the past time in Istanbul and the second one refers to Istanbul now. The learners will spot the differences between the two pictures and I will ask Ss to speak about the changes that have changed in Istanbul recently. They will use Present perfect progressive to form sentences about these changes. After finishing that task, I will project two pictures for a person to talk about the changes that have happened in his life recently. We will talk about his job, his place of stay, his food, his hobbies, and his clothes. That will help them to talk about their life, too.
I will ask the Ss to write about the changes that have happened in their life recently without writing their name. I will divide them into two groups and I will hang the sheets for the first group and ask the other group to discover the person who writes this sheet. After the first group finishes this activity, I will ask the other group to do the same task.
I will grade the learners according to the name of some fruits. I will ask each group to speak freely about their life and the changes that have happened to them. I will monitor their speaking carefully. I will take notes about their errors, but I don't correct them immediately to give them enough time to speak freely and develop the ability of fluency.
I will project their errors that I write during their speaking then I will write sentences that have these errors. I will let them to discover their errors and try to correct them. Maybe, I will write these sentences on the board or project them on a slide.
