Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students

Make hangman activity for: Starts Hangman … - - a - t - Finishes Hangman … - - n - - h - - Then write the sentence and draw the Time on WB She starts work at ....draw She finishes work at .....half past five

Exposure (8-10 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Present Simple: Positive (+): Play a matching game: Most verbs: add: -s Like ... es Leave ... es Verbs ending in -ch or -sh add: -es Watch ... es Teach ... es Verbs ending in consonant + y: y > -ies Study ...
