Procedure (45 minutes)
As a lead-in, the teacher shows a power point slideand she shows some example sentences to clearify what that person does in a day.Then she prepares the class for the clarification of prepositions of time. She marks the important points on the board. After that, teacher asks some CCQ questions to her students about this person. Then, the teacher asks her Sts to write their own sentences with using these prepositions of time.
After lead-in, the teacher shows HO to students and explains it. Then, she gives the HOs to her Sts and they start filling the blanks individually. While Sts doing the task, the teacher monitors them and see if they have any problems with the questions. Then, Sts check their answers with pairs. Finally, the teacher gives the answer key to the Sts.
The teacher shows a HO and explains it to her Sts. They will also able to see it on the board. They need look at Tom's schedule and write full sentences using prepositions of time. Then, the teacher want her Sts to check their answers in pairs. After that, she gives solid answer key.
The teacher presents a power point slide show to her Sts and engage them to the topic ' invitations and suggestions'. They clarify the meaning and teacher asks CCQs about the information and then asks her Sts to write a diaogue ( contains 5 sentences) with using invitations and suggestions in pairs. Then they discuss the sentences in case of mistakes.
Teacher shows a HO to her Sts and tells her Sts to look at the photo of two people talking on the phone and explains that they are arranging to go out with eachother. That HO is a phone call between them. In that HO, students need to complete the sentences ( a-c) and put the verbs in brackets into the correct form. They do the task on their own and then, compare and discuss eachother's questions in pairs.
The teacher tells her Sts try to make an arrangement with their friends. They have to use the structures and functional language they have learnt during the lesson. They will work in pairs and during this stage, the teacher will monitor them and then she will get feedbacks.
The teacher talks about the whole lesson and if needed, asks some Qs to elicit her learners.
