Teacher gives in a gist task to students and then asks them to read the text "Meeting people around the world" Let's see where people from other countries meet up with their friends. Teacher writes on the board the gist tasks. Where do they meet up? What do they do? Read the four texts and then say where these people meet up and what they do? Teacher give another pair work task to stimulate students speaking. Instruction and write the instruction on the board: Think of a friend you haven't seen for a long lime and you want to meet up with him. What friend do you want to meet?
