Procedure (47-60 minutes)
I will show some images of my family memebers and get the students to discussin pairs who they think the people are. I will clarify them that these are people I know.
* I will hold up a piece of cut-up card containing the word 'mother' and elicit from the group which picture they think it matches. I will repeat the exercise again with the word 'sister'. * I will instruct them that they will get a series of cut-up cards and they should discuss and decide which word matches which picture. * After an appropriate amount of time, I will instruct them to stick the words up.
* I will give them handouts containing a list of the target vocaulary and their definitions individually. * I will instruct them to to draw lines and match the vocabulary and its meaning. students will compare their answers with their partners and then with the answer key. * I will ask them if they have understood the meaning of any tricky words such as niece and neighbour.
* I will instruct my students in their groups from earlier to discuss their answers to the card picture matching task in the previous stage and decide if they want to change anything.
* I will inform students that I tell them some information about the people and that they should listen and make some notes. * I will point out a number of people and give a brief background information about them. ın pairs, students discuss what they heard. * ı will ask my students tell each other about their families. they will make brief notes about what they hear. They will change partners and report back to each other on what their previous partner told them
