Procedure (23-35 minutes)
Ask students questions regarding a text they will read in the lesson - Elicit the words "race", "competition", "challenge" for better understanding. Ask students to talk about their favorite TV shows or programs in pairs.
a), b) There are 4 questions for SS to answer them in detail. They're going to read the text for specific answers. First they are going to read the text individually then they check their answers with peer and after all they will be asked to come to the board and underline the answer from the paragraph. c) In this exercise they have to read the text again to fill the blanks with the correct name. After they filled the blanks, their answers will be checked by the group. d) SS will go back to pairs to find out the meaning of the highlighted verbs and verb phrases from the context. e), f) SS will listen to the audio and will find the way that Stig followed then they will show it on the board with Stig's picture. g) SS is going to write down the order the four people arrived and answer the question properly.
In this part SS are going to choose the nearest big city to talk about the races that organized in there between bike, car or other transports in their groups then a student will be nominated to talk on the behalf of others about the discussed subject.
