Procedure

Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students (5-8 minutes) • To arose the Ss interest.

Firstly, I will show Ss the pictures and ask 6 questions to draw their attention. It will elusive the prior knowledge (vocabulary) and experience.On the picture, there are children (boys and girls of different age).My questions are: -What do see on the pictures? Who are they? -What is the difference between them? ( younger and older) -Is the girl younger or older? Raise your hand, if you think it is better to be older (count the number of Ss). Raise your hand, if you think it is better to be younger.(count the number of Ss). Do you think it is better to be the older or the younger brother or sister?Why?

Exposure (5-7 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible.To provide a context for the target language through a situation (my story).Pre teach vocabulary and clarify pronunciation of the new words (conducting stress).

Sometimes there are some conflicts not just between sisters and brothers but between a husband and a wife. Yesterday, my cousin called me in the evening. Her name is Sabina.She was so sad and told me that she desperately (/ˈdes.pər.ət.li/) (Is it DESPERATELY or /ˈdes.pər.ət.li/?) wanted to go with her husband who was going to take a week off. He wanted to go to Spain, to have a rest but she couldn't go because of her work. I need to say that my cousin is jealous (/ˈdʒel.əs/)(Is it Jealaus or /ˈdʒel.əs/?) and eccentric.(/ɪkˈsen.trɪk/ - Is it Essentric or /ɪkˈsen.trɪk/) I don't want to criticize her, but sometimes she presses her husband and even could pinch him (press the skin). I think it is because of the age gap( big difference). She is older than her husband.So as the result they had a big argument about that trip but after a while, they made it up - (they became friends again).Nothing is going to stop love hearts.

Semi-Controlled Practice (4-7 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice.

To say about the goal of the lesson. Today we are going to practice our reading and speaking skills by reading, answering the questions, using new vocabulary and by discussing and expressing your opinions. I am going to put into 3/4 color groups (depends on the number of the Ss). The groups are: red, green, yellow, orange. You need to look at the pictures.Quickly read the statement. Make a prediction. Match the statements to the pictures.Use glue tag to stick the pictures.Check the answers of 1 group-clockwise direction. Are you reading fast or slow? Are you checking your answers?Will you randomly choose the group to check? Are you checking only 1 group? Alright, you have just 4 minutes. When you hear me clap my hands. It means you need to swap your places. Feedback. Alright, is there any similarity in the answers? Were there many different opinions?

While-Reading #1. (5-7 minutes) • To provide students with the gist and find specific information -reading.

You need quickly read the text. Just find and chek your statements. You have 3 minutes. Are you reading slow or fast? Are you reading the whole text carefully? How many minutes have you got? When you hear me clap you need to stop. hand out the folders with the paper and statements. Alright, let's check the answers. In the envelopes on your desks, you can find the answers and check them. You have 1 minute. Feedback. Was your prediction right or wrong?Are there many right answers? Is there anybody who has all correct answers? Well done.Good job.

While-Reading/#2 (3-6 minutes) • To provide students with more challenging detailed. Read for details.
