Procedure (37-48 minutes)
The teacher will ask Ss: how do you spend or save money? Do you have good ideas to make money? when you come up with an idea, do you make it happen immediately? Then the teacher will writes two Qs on the board :whose idea are they talking about? what do Martha and her Dad think about the idea? T gives the HOs and ask Ss to read it fast and answer the Qs. T gets feedback.
T will ask Ss to use the words in the box and complete the text. Ss will check in pairs. Ss will listen to audio and check their answers.
T put Ss in pairs and gives the pieces of paper(definition/word). T asks them to match them. T will monitor to understand which words are difficult to focus on in the feedback part. T gives the answer key. T asks CCQs and drills the difficult words.
T uses the projector to show and tell a story meanwhile she asks Ss to guess her story. T gives a context to pairs and asks them to make a story using some words they have just learned. Ss talk together and tell stories and they should choose the best one. T gets feedback.
T asks Ss to look at the bottom of page 26 and tell each other if they agree or disagree with the sentences and give reasons. T monitors to hunt mistakes. T gets feedback
T writes some mistakes on the board. T asks Ss to correct in pairs. T gets feedback.
