Procedure (34-50 minutes)
Students are going to talk about what the web site is about and by thelp of their partners they are going to guess which titles are related to which pictures.
Before guessing the titles, learners do a maching activity in order to learn the new vocabulary items and the blocking words are going to be removed in that way. Learners are going to read the text next, and check which story is related to the four pictures.
Then learners are asked to find the highlighted words in the text in pairs and see what type of adverb they are related to.
Then the meaning will be checked through asking some concept checking questions to check whether they have learned they adverbial phrases.
Learners go around the class and read some sentences and change the place of adverbs in a sentence. In the next activity they will identify the adverbs first and by the help of a partner they would decide what kind of adverb they are.
Learners underline the adverbs and adverbial phrases and then correct the sentences where the order is wrong. Then feedback will be done to make sure whether they have done it correctly or not.
Learners are going to put the pictures of a story in order in two parts. Then they would check the answers.Also, they would tell the story to their partners and the errors will be corrected later by the teacher.
