A picture of the teacher is shown to the students to guess who he is and if he is that old. Then the photo of Nick Sydney and Karoline Bell is shown to them in order to help them read the text and check what has happened to them. After giving feedback by them, learners are asked to read the first paragraph with a partner and say what each word means.
Learners are asked to read three questions about what has happened in the TV program and talk about them with a partner. Then they will read the text and check their predictions. The learners will come to the board to show the answers of each question.
Nine sentences are given to the learners to read the text again and then decide each of these nine sentences are related to Karoline, Nick, or both. Then learners do the activity in two groups and the feedback will be done on the board.
