Procedure (36-45 minutes)
The teacher gives the HO and asks students to talk about the questions in pairs. T gets feedback by asking some students to talk about their partners.
The teacher gives the model to Ss asks them to read alone first and find find transitions then they should check in pairs. The teacher gets feedback and explains if there is a problem.
The teacher asks Ss to write alone about their favorite festivals and try to use transitions and relative clauses. Ss switch their writings and check each others'. T gets feedback and corrects mistakes.
T asks Ss to rewrite again and try to correct their mistakes. T gets feedback.
T writes some mistakes on the board and asks Ss to correct them in pairs. T gets feedback.
