Description
This lessons starts with a completion exercise to differentiate between the meaning of Present Perfect Simple and Past Simple. Then, an exercise of the words/ phrases that are used with both tenses follow. A focus on pronunciation of the two tenses is done next. After that, a practice exercise on the use of the tow tenses in context is presented. A final personalized practice come by the end of the lesson.

Giving graded instructions to the activity
Clarification (8-10 minutes) • To clarify the meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language

Pronunciation Practice (8-10 minutes) • To drill on sentence stress and contractions
Doing exercises 4 and 5
Semi-Controlled Practice (8-10 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice
