Procedure (18-32 minutes)
Daily routine vocabulary (5-7 minutes) • giving them vocabulary to talk about everyday routine tasks
- PowerPoint slide on the WB -cut-ups on the daily routine tasks provided to two groups -Ss work in groups, they run to WB and stick cut-up on the matching task
Present Simple Introduction (5-10 minutes) • setting the context (present simple)
- daily routine activities symbols on the wb - model sentences written on WB - form provided -CCQs -Positive form (3rd person S) -negative form (does not removing third person S) -pronunciation
Pronunciation (3-5 minutes) • Practicing 3rd person S
-PowePoint slide with verb on the WB -Practicing pronunciation of third person S
Present Simple Practice (5-10 minutes) • Production of Present Simple sentences in a controlled written task
- Carol and her brother introduced -SS read about the two characters and fill in the gap with the missing words . - General comprehension checked - Ss check in pairs
