Procedure (37-49 minutes)
This week is my first week with the students, so I will introduce myself and let the students introduce themselves. Then I will engage the students in the lesson by asking if they have a watch then I will ask what the time is.
Write the times on the board such as 7:00 and 11:00. Ask students to come to the board, make the students draw the clocks on the board. The teacher will hand out the material 'what time is it, please? Students do exercises and check their answers with their partners.
Ss will learn the different ways of telling the time such as analog and digital. The teacher will focus on the pronunciation in this part.
The teacher will hand out the exercise and students will do the exercise to do more practice on the subject. Students will check their answers with their partners.
The teacher will hand out material about daily routine to prepare students for the next activity. Students are going to fill in the blanks with the words about daily routines that they have learnt in the previous lesson and more practise about time that they have learnt in this lesson.
The teacher will hand out material to the students to practise the subject they have learnt by doing a speaking activity. They are going to ask questions to each other to get information about their classmates daily routines. They will mingle around the classroom and will questionnaire at least three people in the classroom. The teacher will monitor the students and take notes and give feedback if she has time.
