I will show a picture of someone overcoming difficulties and ask Sts about the person. Then I will give same kind of pic to them to get them talk about the pics together in groups or pairs. After that, we will talk aboutt Ray Charles and other great singers over the world to set the context.

I will pre-teach the vocab, Sts will match the target words with their definitions and then sit together with their pairs.

Sts will read the thext for gist and asnwer the questions about the main topic of the text.

Sts will scan the text and then they will match the life events with their dates in the text.

There will be some questions related with the text, that Sts will talk about them in small groups.
