Then i will show them pictures on powerpoint of Singapore then i will get them to do an activity where they will have to stick the right label of a location on the right picture.
Then i will get Ss to do a WC activity where one Ss has to come up infront of the class and get into the character of Masumi, then each Ss has to ask masumi where they think she is from. Then they will listen to recording 2.33 where masumi talks about her trip. then they will answer the questions in pairs. and will correct them as a class. Then i will choose another Ss to be masumi to sit out the front, then i will play the recording again and get the class to answer it in pairs again then check the answers by asking masumi the questions and will correct answers as a WC.
Then i will show the WC on the white board how to form past simple questions. And get the Ss to come up and and fill in the gaps of the past simple questions on the WB. Correct and drill as a class. After that i will play recording 2.30 and practise the questions as WC.
Then Ss will conduct an interview in pairs where student A is the interviewer and B is the person who went to Singapore. The A will ask questions and B will give answers. Then they will change roles and conduct the same activity.
Firstly i will get SS to think about a place they have visited recently. Then they will write a sentence. Then i will give the Ss sentences to another student, then in pairs they will look at their new sentence and write 3 questions. Then they will find the student who wrote the sentence after they will ask and answer the questions.
