Procedure (15-38 minutes)
T projects the 1st slide with the question in it (What do they NEED to do these activities?) Ss think and guess in pairs for 2 minutes ***While Students are thinking ** T writes ENERGY EFFORT POWER STRENGHT on WB include the word ALL later ***As students use the words energy effort + T puts thick on each word and says that you need all of these to do these activities Ask Concept Checking Questions
Slide 2***What do they have in common? Students recall the word energy from the previous slide T write on WB using energy -->burn calories -->lose weight-->feel happy Include Concept Checking Questions after each vocabulary
slide 3 T distributes the readings to each group A + B T says : read and answer questions and then check together in your group ***time limit 6 min T monitors each group activity and at the end T gives out the answer key to each group before shuffeling
T regroups the students as AB + BA and make sure that there is no AA or BB members T says ask and answer questions about each others texts time limit is 6 min T monitors the activity around the class
slide 4 T says everybody sit back please to their seat T says now ask and answer this question to everybody in class T says you dont need a paper or pen. its a speaking activity Students go around and ask the question to everybody in class ********T MONITORS THE CLASS ACTIVITY AND LISTENS THEIR CONVERSATIONS
