Procedure

warmer (3-5 minutes) • To introduce the lesson and make the context of the lesson interesting for the SS

show introduction about (Must, Have to and should)

match sentences (10-15 minutes) • To provide new Auxiliary verbs (modals of obligation)

- Match the sentences with the meanings. - Give SS 12 pieces of paper and let them to match the pieces with each other. - Write 3 words on the board (Must , Have to and Should) and explain the differences between them with giving example.

underline the correct word (5-7 minutes) • to provide the understanding of modals of obligation

- Elilcit new words to SS. using projection - SS work alone to complete exercises on p. 135/4.1 Pair check

sentences form (5-7 minutes) • to practice using modals of obligation

- Elicit jobs from pictures . - SS read the texts and match the pictures with description. - SS discuss meaning of new words in the texts.

speaking (5-7 minutes) • To practice using vocabulary form working life

- Demonstrate by talking about friends’ jobs. - SS work alone to complete the practice on page 45.

Extra Options (3-5 minutes) • speaking

SS write the description without mentioning the job. then a S from a group read the description aloud and the other pairs will guess
