Procedure (42-46 minutes)
Show the picture of a car to the ss and tell them it's mine. "This is my car. I have got a car". Show ss the telephone and repeat "This is mine. I have got an I phone." "I've got a car. I've got a telephone.". Take a ss's object and say "Merve has got a smartphone". Continue with ss objects, use body language to ask ss who has got what. Ss: "He has got a bag!""Ahmet has got a laptop!"
Write a sentence the w/b "Daria has got a car. Daria's got a car. Daria hasn't got a pet." Give HO of different objects to each group. They have to chose 1 object they have and 1 object they don't have and report it to the class. Teacher drills in groups and individually. Ss complete ex 5, ex 7
Students in groups complete thje Vocab HO by filling in the vowels in the words. Ss do peer check (group check)
Give Ss WkBk ex4-chart only. Ss in pairs talk what each person has got or hasn't got referring to the chart Ss unfold the HO and fill in the gaps with the correct form
Remind ss about Sally and Bill. Show their picture. Give ex 9 and ask if ss think if Sally and Bill have got/haven't got items in the list. Ss listen and check their answers.
Ss are divided into groups. And get their number in the group: STUDENT 1-STUDENT 3-STUDENT 3 etc T shows an item one at a time (camera). The first person from each group runs to the w/b and writes down the sentence about himself/herself. "I don't have a camera". the the s runs back to the group and gives the marker to Student-2. The group which finishes the first without mistakes wins! Feedback.
