T projects a slide containing some travel images on the board using power point. Images include; Antalya, Frankfurt, Cairo, and a couple other places. "yesterday you talked about Cairo... what are we going to talk about today?" As Ss shout out names, "Antalya, Lycean way, mountains, London " etc

T counts students off into two groups and seats them in two circles. Each of the two teams will be given the pieces of the stories and Ss will be asked to put them in order. T will play each recording once, then T will play each recording again unless it looks like all the Ss have completed the activity, T will hand out keys to each group, and ask if they were correct.

T writes the word "didn't" on the WB and instructs Ss to find the sentence with the word didn't and read it aloud

T advances to next powerpoint slide. two grammatical negated sentences from the text are displayed. T asks CCQs Did they see any sea turtles? (NO) Is this in the past? (YES) and again, Did the mayor stay? (NO) Is this in the past? (YES) Teacher then asks students to work in pairs to create a rule. T drills

Each of the two groups is given a whiteboard, and will write up numbers 1-8. The two student teams will make comparisons between the sentences from their stories and in those in the opposite teams stories using negation. for example the Antalya team can say " They didn't go to the cinema" players must go one at a time and everyone must play, no repeaters! the first team to get 8 sentences correct sentences wins. Incorrect sentences will be evaluated with the group that made them for feedback

T directs Ss to write 5 phrases using the exact form. T demos the process with one student the divides Ss into groups

Ss will form groups and talk about their weekend making 1 negative and one positive sentence. T will demo first. Ss will stand up and share when finished
