Language Focus: In this lesson students will learn about adverbs of frequency in the context of Sunday activities.
Subsidiary Aims

To provide fluency and accuracy speaking practice using adverbs of frequency in the context of Sunday activities.
Procedure (34-43 minutes)
Elicit from the students the use of adverbs of frequency. Review the following adverbs of frequency: always, usually, often, rarely, and never.
Ask the students to find the adverb of frequency from the reading text that we read earlier. Make sure to Include 'every other Sunday' and elicit why it is considered an adverb of frequency. Clarify meaning, form and pronunciation of the target language.
Give each student a whiteboard and a marker. Ask them to write their for each question regarding which adverb to use in the sentence.
In this activity, students will come up with a chart of what they do on a Sunday. They will then share their work with a partner.
If there is time, students will be playing the adverbs of frequency dice. They will be working in groups, each student will be rolling the die and which ever adverb it lands, they will use it in a sentence.
