The teacher will give them another HO with a matching exercise which is on adjectives and expressions about human personalities. The students will do this exercise in groups in 2minutes. The clarification will come in the FB, which is a WCFB. The teacher will write the ones with which the Ss have the most problems on the board, and clarifies. ICQ: How much time do you have? Then she will tell them that they need these words in the listening exercise.
The teacher tells the students that they are going to listen to the audio and identify each person's pet. She will tell the students than they can listen to it only once. Then she will get the WCFB. CCQ: What are you going to find out?
The teacher will tell the students to listen to the the audio again and see if any of these people are similar to their pets. She will tell them that they are going to listen to the audio only once. Then she will get the WCFB. ICQ: How many time can you listen to the audio?
Group changing will be done first. Some cut-ups with adjectives and meaning will be given to students. First they will match each adjective with its meaning in 2 minutes, WCFB will come afterwards, then they will try to form the right collocations by the new HOs they get in groups. Early finishers will go to the board and write their answers. In case the students did not get the meaning of some words, the teacher will clarify. My ICQ: How much time do you have?
Gap-fill HO will be given to students, and they will do the exercise individually. Then they will check their answers in groups and report to class.
The teacher will tell the students that her best friend has a great sense of humour and is a very bright woman. Then she will change pairs, and asks them to talk to their partners about someone they know. Then each partner can report to class about his/her partner's character description.
