Main Aims

To give Ss practice in speaking for fluency and expressing doubts.

Subsidiary Aims

To raise Ss ’awareness of and give practice in functional words and phrases for expressing doubts.To give Ss practice in listening for specific information and detail.

Procedure (34-45 minutes)

Warming-up (3-5 minutes) • To get students interested in the topic.

T divides Ss into two groups, each group will have a small text about one touristic destination to read it in two minutes, discuss it in GW and tell the other group about it. T takes FB

Listening for specific information (5-7 minutes) • To exposure Ss to naturals expressing of doubt.

Ss will listen to two speakers talking about magic places, Ss have to decide the two speakers" attitidues, Ss will discuss that in pairs and the Fb on the board.

listening for detail information (4-6 minutes) • To exposure Ss to naturals expressing of doubt.

T will give Ss handouts to tick the correct answer. T plays listening. Ss will check in pairs. T does Fb on the board.

Language focus/controlled exercise (6-8 minutes) • To consolidate expressing doubt using expression from the listening.

T will hand Ss sheets to fill gaps with the correct answer depending on the previous listening, then playing the listening for FB. T will drill sentences after the recordings, sentence by sentence,

Speaking/ productive skill (16-19 minutes) • To practice expressing doubt orally.

T asks Ss whether any of them has been there in those places before to be a teller for his group. T will group Ss into four or five groups according to the tellers. If not, Ss will select a particular topic from the board to talk about in their groups. Topics will be displayed with some key words. every two groups will meet face to face to FB and share ideas about the place they have already discussed.
