Description
In this lesson the students are challenged to make the rules themselves to form series of grammar based questions, from the guided discovery questions that will be presented in a “Right or Wrong” fashion as the Ss decide by agreeing or disagreeing about the selections. Students will have a series of exercises that wil assist in building their grammar skills as well as speaking abilities in proper sentence formation. Ss will work on pronunciation/speaking practice, and they will be asked a series of elicit/CCQ‘s that will require them to enuniciate more effectively.

Main Aims

To provide practice and review in the context of What, Who, How, Why, When, Where in the pretext of right and wrong
Subsidiary Aims

Ss will practice previous vocabulary from past lesson to assist in clarifcation of the context of grammar within a conversation of right and wrong answers.
Procedure (28-45 minutes)
Warmer/Lead-in (3-5 minutes) • To set lesson context and engage students
T will have two pictures placed on WB of Antartica and of the Sahara. T will ask students a series of quetions about the two places.
Pre-Reading/Listening (10-15 minutes) • To prepare students for the text and make it accessible
Have students listen to recording taking notes to prepare for game activity.
While-Reading/Listening #1 (5-10 minutes) • To provide students with less challenging gist and specific information reading/listening tasks
T will give a series of selected handouts for Ss to achieve tasks
Post-Reading/Listening (10-15 minutes) • To provide with an opportunity to respond to the text and expand on what they've learned
T will provide handouts for students to form questions and quiz each other for “Right and Wrong” answers as opposing teams
