Procedure (34-46 minutes)
Play a video for students to sing and dance to.
Review the structure from Lesson 4. The bed is next to the lamp. Play Disappearing Picture. A room will appear for a few seconds and then disappear leaving an peice of furniture. Students will race to make the answer. Then the winner will be able to choose whether they want to open the mystery box or if they want to throw it at another team. After each round the teacher will repeat the sentence using It's to replace the first furniture peice.
Formally introduce the new structure: It's next to the bed. Practice changing the sentence in chorus and individually.
Play the balloon pop game.
Play Sentence builder Students will look at the screen picture to make the sentences with the word cards provided. The fastest team will get to roll the dice.
