Procedure

Warm Up Song (2-3 minutes) • To help students center and get ready to learn

A video will be played that suits the class to gets their bodies ready and settled for learning.

Exposure (7-9 minutes) • To provide context for the target language through a text or situation

Review Words and Recycle structure, This is /That is These are/ Those are Introduce "our" Students already know about we. Practice with a Quick Drill Side-to-Side

Controlled Practice (7-9 minutes) • To concept check and prepare students for more meaningful practice

Students will parctice using the structure together a few times before playing a game. Picture Flash There will be a room picture on the screen but a peice of furniture will flash before disappearing. Students need to make the sentence. This is our (room). We have got a _______. The winner gets to pull a stick from the "Don't topple me!" stick game.

Semi-Controlled Practice (7-9 minutes) • To concept check further and prepare students for free practice

Students will listen to the teacher to put picture cards into the right rooms. For example, This is our living room. We have got a bookcase. Students will try to put their book case into their house "living room" before the other teams.

Free Practice (7-9 minutes) • To provide students with free practice of the target language

Students will use a wheel to prompt their production of sentences. The wheel will have the rooms listed. After the wheel stops spinning the chosen students will need to run to the Flashcards around the room and make a sentence first.

Closing (4-6 minutes) • To review the target language.

A short video will be played and students will need to watch and remember to answer a few questions.
